ive waited all year to be able to reblog this

So no one probably gives a fuck about Sims Social, but I’ve played it for about a year. And since I have accumulated the $mad chedda$ I now have the most beautiful Addams Family suburban home for my little demon hipster chick.

These Etsy features are going to get to real Autumnal, real fast. I’m asked about candles quite a bit so I thought I’d feature one of my favorite candle makers on Etsy, Artisan Witchcrafts.

Be sure to check out her shop and her 225+ candle varieties, all complete works of art. She uses pure soy wax, cotton wicks and quality botanical ingredients and fragrance, so her candles are perfect for ritual use and making-your-home-smell-awesome use.

From L to R,  her Haunted Harvest votives, Tyr, Spirit Night, Black Cauldron, and Cernunnos pillar candles.

So ready for this summer shit to be over.

Acid Pop Tart’s fabulous version of the Bride of Frankenstein!
theacidpoptart:

My re-imagined vision of the Bride of Frankenstein, I made everything, including the wig. Approximate time from my sketches to finish product was about 50 hours. Every fabric item was individually coffee or tea stained and/or then aged further with dyes, there is actual liquid in the test tubes and tubing, everything tested before hand to see how airtight my seals were. Those are actual 1950’s electronic parts as well as metal springs (pretty sure from a tractor) that I bought at auction in a huge lot that I had no idea what I would ever use them for, until this all suddenly came together. I had to do lots of rusting and aging on the non metal parts (the huge “corrosion” you see around the base of my test tubes is actually glue which I later painted with iron paint and then rusted)  which took some time, but well worth it. More photos to come, this is right after I was fully dressed and about to go out. This costume was thoroughly “road tested”, conclusion? This is a show car, possible a concept car as in, not the best costume in large crowds with uneven ground and touchy feely drunk people! :D

I found this on /x/ several years ago, and forgot all about it until now.

I am so glad you remembered it, because I just watched The Lost Boys yesterday.

If I ever finally have a place of my own, without roommates or fire restrictions, I am going to DECORATE THE HELL OUT OF IT for Halloween. And probably leave it up year round.
